How we work

What Drives Us

Africa is blessed with a rich bounty of natural resources. The continent holds around 30% of the world’s known mineral reserves. Cobalt, Uranium, Diamonds And Gold, As Well As Significant Oil And Gas Reserves. The population will double to 2.5 billion by 2050. About 25% of these people will live in West Africa alone.

Currently, we estimate that 41% of the population is under the age 15. This is a very high fraction. Another 19% are between ages 15 and 24. So if you add those two together you’ve got three-fifths of the population that is under the age of 25.

This Make African The Workforce Of The Future  And The Envy Of The World Despite Challenges.

We believe the human resource and especially young people are the most precious wealth of any nation. Therefore, solving the problem of youth unemployment is a matter of great concern and requires bringing to the forefront the need to increase the importance of promoting Green Innovation, Eco Entrepreneurship, Advocacy, Green Employment to scale up our green economy.

Since 2009, AYGC has been the convergence of a four-tier leadership grooming programme for African and Diaspora youth, leadership grooming cascade of mentorship community impact and networking and exchanges.

More than 30 Diaspora and 25 African delegates from 15 countries led by the Waste Or Create Hub, visited the Aburi Botanical Gardens to contribute to environmental rights and climate justice to set up a Green Hub that would support and serve an important purpose to the environment through the form of education and conservation.

Waste Or Create Hub believing that with art, innovation and creativity nothing is waste,  set up recycling stations in the gardens to ensure that people who visit will not litter and also will learn from the separation system in the garden.
